Tonight from 10pm to midnight, The Burgess Love Connection will be on the air for the last time. I (Erik) am graduating next week, and thus ends our current three-year reign on Hamline Radio.
We’re celebrating mothers tonight, specifically our own, who gave birth to us and made us real people….
Even if you’ve never tuned in, tonight is a great night to do it. Our good friend and brother Drew Hurst is in the studio with us, and we’re celebrating Mother’s Day with a lot of great mom/woman themed music. Please tune in.

Amendment One has passed in North Carolina.
Same-sex marriage is now officially banned in the North Carolina State Constitution, as well as civil unions and domestic partnerships.
FOLLOW-UP: You can, however, still marry your first cousin.
For the first to time in a long time, I am disappointed in my state.
Shame on you, North Carolina. Goddamn shame on you.
